G'day, i just got an old 1L sierra purely just as a thrash car (so no need to worry about highway and around town driving). How hard is it to do a spring over axle conversion, and what is involved? Has anyone done it, would you recomand it, what issues were there? It is old, and shitty and i would really like to keep it cheap so a spring over would be ideal, i allready have 30" tyres to go on it. Has anyone welded the rear diff? ANy recomendations would be aweosme, cheers |

If you wanna keep it cheap make up some extended shackles and go with the hilux commodor shocks. take out a leaf or 2 and open up your leaf clamps. good ebnough |

Thanks, i wanted the spring over for the clearence. How much are drop schakles? Is this another suitable option? WHat model is it, its a 1L 1983 model More rust than car i think but |
