Hi all what is needed or what do I have to do to install a disk brake conversion in the front of my 81 modle sj40t ute what are the components involved and how do U do it ECT sorry still new to this sort of stuff Cheers Shaun

you may also need a master cylinder from a later model 1 litre (or 1.3 if you want to add a booster). the drum front run a different master cylinder to disk front, and the proportioning may be different. but I can't say for certain, it may infact work ok for you. you may get away with just removing the residual pressure valve from the front lines (assuming it has one fitted being drum brakes)

I've located a disk front end to do this, but need a new master cylinder as mine is worn out. There are dozens of master cylinders for sale online, but I can't work out which one to order as none of them specify for the disk brake version. Does anyone have a link to the right one to buy?
