| Post subject: | Jimny G13b head repair tapping noise |
Hi. I repaired overheated Zook with new gasket shaved a pressure tested head and have an annoying tapping sound. Checked valve lashes and all seem ok. Now have a lot of blow by and wondered if this could be piston slap from damaged block or rings. Video attached. Thanks in advance. |

Found the problem. Deep gouge in the cylinder block from gudgen pin. Now looking for replacement motor either G13b or G16b. |
