I have bitten the bullet and have purchased a Pioneer RDS AV receiver to replace the old factory Clarion radio. Process is straight forward but one wire I am not sure about. On the wire loom a pink wire "vehicle speed sensor". Pioneer has told me that this is for Europe where there is long tunnels and the GPS signal is lost. I was not going to bother connecting it but my brother has encountered problems with the GPS dropping out and missing a turn he thinks in Sydney. Since I still have the dash apart I thought I would look at connecting it. Question is where? From my diagram I thought the yellow/green wire pin 11 of connector G22 combination meter. I will try to attach a file. Anybody else replaced their radio and connected the speed sensor? |
