| Post subject: | SJ50 Sierra heater not working |
Hello, I have a 1984 SJ50 Suzuki Sierra and I am having trouble getting the heater to work. I have cleaned the heater box out by drilling a hole in the side and vacuuming/blowing it out. It blows air really strong but only cold air. If I place my hand on the 2 demister tubes that come off either side of the heater box it feels hot there but there is nothing coming out of the vents. I know hot air only comes from the windscreen and feet vents but there is no hot air coming from them either. Also no matter what mode I put it on it only blows air out of the front vents. Any photos would be a massive help aswell. Thanks for any help in advance. |

If you are only getting air flow out of the dash vents, I would say the direction flap is not moving. Is there any tension on the slide lever? It could be a broken cable or it’s just come off the flap. Was the heater core just covered in leaf's etc or is it packed with mud? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
