Hi All
My Restoration of a SJ50 Samurai / Sierra continues and I am currently replacing the seat runners so they are the standard to avoid certification and legal costs when it gets put back on the road, plus trying to work out why the speedo isn't working after connection of the new cable, plus the fuel sender, the horn, clean out the heater and other jobs on the list.

The question I have is wheel nuts. Are all Suzuki's the same thread all the way through?
What other vehicles have the same thread, are they the same as a Toyota, Mazda, Nissan or anything else?
Has anyone taken some off other vehicles for the Suzuki - what vehicles please? are they a standard 1.25x10 thread?

All sierras and vitaras are the same thread m12 x1.25.
Most Japanese vehicles are 12X1.5 - I struggled to find much in the way of 12X1.25 studs when I was chasing longer studs to suit my alloy rims.

I converted my car to m12x1.5 ARP long studs as these are more durable and less likely to have problems with the thread. There is a topic in the “good tech” section about this.

There are online sources for thread pitch information, but I can’t find them now.

Yes 12 x 1.25 thread on the wheel nuts on the 4 wheels however the 3 on the back of the rear wheel bracket on the back door are a lot wider, chunkier thread so think they are the 12 x 1.5 nd half of me is thinking why are they not the same as the wheels, but think if the spare wheel bracket is not the original then that maybe why

What thread is on others spare wheel brackets please.

The factory spare tyre bracket uses 12x1.25 studs. Your bracket must be non standard.
