| Post subject: | SJ80 Transfer Case Swap |
G 'day Guys I am wanting to do a SJ70 transfer case swap into my SJ80, I have a SJ70 transfer case ready to go in. My SJ70 Transfer Case has got the SJ70 mounts and it has its factory flanges. I am enquiring in what needs to be done to get the transfer case to fit. Could someone please give me a list of parts required to make the transfer fit. Cheers

And a WT front driveshaft. The sj80 shaft is longer due to the transfer case being shorter between the outputs. |

WT transfer gearing is 7% lower in low and high range. Not enough to justify the swap. 1.0 litre gearing is much better and basically makes low 1st feel a whole gear lower than stock, but it’s still nothing like having reduction gears. |
