Just saw something about this again and remembered i have a set of 1L gears which are used.

I've had some explanations from a few people but always got confused

Do you need 1 standard 1.3L transfer and these gears pictured? or do you need more bits from other cases to make a S1 transfer case?

you need a set of late 1 litre gears, a 1.3 flange needs to be able to be fitted to that spline bit

then you get the gear that has the 2 gears as one and cut it in half and join the 2 bits from both gearsets together, if you compare to some 1.3 gears youll see how it would work

i was looking at doing this, still considering it, only problem i've got is trying to figure out whether the modified idler gear set will be strong enough to not break when using it...
