well my wheel bearings came lose again. got the 50mm socket on it, tightened to specs. but there still lose. so i tighened the first nut to 80nm and the wheel still turns fine and is still a little lose ive got new wheelbearings on the way, i am just thinking now maybe the housing could be floged out aswell? i have forgoten how it all gones in there but will i need a whole new diff housing or just the knuckel? |

Will it go tighter if you tighten it more? check the thread for it being clean and not chopped up. If it's dirty then it will effect the NM reading... |

its all clean. i even took the bearings out. still i cant get it tigher then 80nm. socket is just not deep enough |

I ran egay bearing for about 6 months... thats the amount of time it took for each bearing to die on me.... |

1. what brand bearings? koyo are made in japan and as far as i know they are a good brand. 2.where they torqued to specs? 3.did you use the right grease? 4.whats your offset on your rims? lots of questions before you can start blaming the bearings |

KOYO = GOOD (and i'm not even a koyo distributor) anything jap like FBJ, NACHI, NTN, KOYO, EZO or WTW are great. then your european FAG, SKF, TIMKEN/TORINGTON some bearing kits i see here are always japanese, but its pretty stupid when between 5 guys with over 100yrs experience in the game, no one can pronounce or reconise the brand. but they are still stamped japanese so the company isn't lying when it says it only uses jap. weaves. |
