Best Choice for the T/case?

Mine looked pretty grubby inside, so idea is to flush with something cheaper then drop it again then refill with a heavy duty?

Brands?

Anything you guys trust?

Cheers

im considering this also.. i know im up for replacing the shifter bushing and am presuming all the broken bits are goin to be strewn thru the case, so was trying to work out what would be best to flush with.

I figured a CHEAP oil.. or diesel maybe(only as a flush-not to be driven with in!) Then refilling with VMX80 as its done WONDERS on the 5speed!

any other suggestions!??

That's what I use. I've also got an additive in but can't for the life of me remember what it is.

If you can find it Redline Shock Proof is the sh*t, bit more expensive but does wonders for them. Burson auto parts are a distributor for this stuff. My case used to rattle very badly but with this in there it sounds much better. Will also change colour if overheated so..... If you are doing any work to your transfer you just collect your old oil, strain it and reuse it, it will be fine to use again. Extra long life, synthetic lubricant that has no petrochemicals so better for the environment as well...
