I am concerned that the 6.5s are going to break my transfer case after hearing many stories of it happening, even with mild 2wd driving... I have a mighty kong bracket as well as a RT ring (but not with me ATM), I was wondering if anyone has combined the two for maximum bracing? BTW I have 31s and a stock 1.3L, and I am usually fairly light on the loud pedal... |

I ran 31s and 6.5s without any bracing and i was giving it heaps! like serious pig rooting when i first built it... But the Tcase is still tough and not damaged at all. Unless dropping unto rocks the tcase wil be fine with 6.5s and 31s... imho |

hey matey.. when i started running 6:5 - 1's, i was running 32's with front locker. The case smashed in half not long after. Since then, a mate and i made a rocktoy ring, welded this to strengthened mounts, custom made some tonka tough rubber mounts, and upgraded the standard chassis mounts. Now im running a 1.6 vit motor, twin air lockers, 35's all with 6:5-1's..havent had any drama since! |

Reckon I'll use both then. Anyone know how much needs to be cut off the top for a non BL rig? |
