Post subject:  Mysterious Noise.....HELP!!!!!!! - Problem solvered

Hi All,

I have a noise that is bugging the shit out of me as I cannot put a finger on it. :x

It sounds like(this is the best way I can describe it) a suspect uni joint, I hope someone knows the noise I mean.

I have changed the two between the box and t'fer and the front and rear shafts look and feel fine.

The noise is worst in 2wheel drive, a little better in 4x4, low or high. It starts from initial movement to approx 40km's.

ITS A COILY SIERRA

Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. Possibly a good mechanic with suzy experience on the northside of brissy also.

Thanks

It's a coily, wheel bearings in front are all good. It does sound like its coming from the front.

I will also add that I have never owned a zuk before, so I am not really up to speed on what goes where and how it might sound

It sounds like there might be some kind of rubbing of metals as the noise increases with speed???
