| Post subject: | ARB Locker switch wire up issue |
I have a question about wiring of locker/compressor switches!!!! when I turn the compressor switch on there is NO illumination until locker switch is activated. As soon as the locker switch is de-activated the illumination is also gone. I have also got switch illumination when dash lights are active. In suggestions please????? David |

But if you turn locker switch off and leave compressor switch on then shouldn't the compressor switch be illuminated until it is switched off. David |

you shouldn't be able to turn the air locker on (eg light up the big blue bit) unless the compressor has been "armed" the loom should have switch 1, 2 & isolation switch, it sounds like you have switch 1 & the isolation switch around the wrong way? http://www.offroaders.com/tech/ARB-air- ... agrams.htm |

just to clarify, when you hit the compressor switch is the compressor turning on? or is it only turning on with the locker? |

Yes compressor is switching on regardless of illumination being on or not, BUT it only illuminates when locker is activated David |

yes, very hard diagram to follow http://www.arb.com.au/resources/pdf/airLockers/3-04.pdf also when fitting you will notice on the back of the switch there are arrows that stand for 'up'. get them round the wrong way and the wrong lights will illuminate. |
