i put a 1.3L motor into my 1l lwb zook and i got 1.3l diff sitting there i still got 1l tcase and diff in it so what i wont to no what would be better the 1l or 1.3l diff i can sit on 90k but i trying to get 100k every one conplanes that i am slow and the motor seams to be working to much i think the 1.3l diff would be better but would 5th gear be unusable any thoughts are welcome |

WOW take a breath. I don't think that 1.3L diffs fit in 1L housings. BUT as the 1.3 motor was ontop of a NT it will fit. The 1.3NT diffs might just be 4pinion fronts

is it a NT or WT 1.3? no matter which one it is the 1.3L diffs will give you better gearing for on road but they will dehance offroad gearing |

1 litre and NT diffs are the same width and same mounts. WT diffs are different mounts and widths. So yes they are a bolt in job. can be done very easily. |

What size tyres do you run on it? 1 litre diffs are 4.1:1, the NT diffs are 3.9:1. If your tyres aren't too big (eg approx. 30") your 1.3 should have the torque to push it along at 100kph. I would think that with a 1 litre transfer case a 1.3 should be able to push 31s at 100kph if the motor is in decent condition. Is the problem that you cant do more than 90kph currently? If that's the case I think your engine might be sick. |

i running 30x9.5R15 cooper stt i can do 100kph but i think its called (over run) or something likt that that motor it in good now the gear box is missing 2 teeth but it get me around i got to fix that soon but i dont think thats the problem |

ok i will try the motor over runs trying to do 100kph so i trying to work out what would be better the 1 litre diffs at 4.1:1, or the 1.3L NT diffs at 3.9:1 what would be better on off road |

by over runs do you mean over revs? if its over revving you need to get higher gears, the 3.9s are higher than the 4.1s. the 3.9s should still be low enough for off road use with 30s |

when you say you motor "over runs" trying to do 90-100kph do you mean reving hard? eg 6000 RPM at 100kph, it's a suzuki they're built to rev! |

over run thats what chris he a mechanic and say it doing it sit on about 3300rpm90kph 3500rpm doing 100kph but the motor sound like its struggling on flat road if that makes sense |

its not revving overly high in fifth for 100km/h the 4.1 would raise your revs a little but make your highway speed easier on the engine. the 1 litre diffs however are a fair bit weaker when you get them off road i believe. |
