what needs to be done to a sierra trans case so that it fits into a jimny. is there a gearing advantage with a stock box? |

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the Jimny Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) is on the output of the transfer so the first thing you'd have to do is fit one to a Sierra transfer.. The thread I read I think they used a timing belt pulley machined thinner but I can't remember where it was let alone find it... Probably on the "Other" site. EDIT: Spent the last hour or so looking and found the answer!!!!

thanks jas. looks like it is a bit more involved then i first thought does anyone know if there are any realistic options for better gearing. he has 235/75/15"s and is having a lot of problems in the bottomless sand that we have here. |
