I need to lift my jimny...dont want to go with the whole suspension lift kit.
Now with regards to spacers I see they come in 30mm/40mm and 50mm and sold in pairs of two.
1: Can I fit the same spacers front and back eg 40mm and 40mm?
2: If I do fit spacers do I need to add any other mods eg brake line extensions etc etc?

I think thats it for now.

you will find with a large spacer you're shocks will top out sooner (and fail) and you run the risk of a coil going solid during compression.

putting a full kit in mine made it so much nicer to drive =]
your lifting it to fit bigger tyres under it?
body lift might be better?

I'd rather not go the whole body lift mod, think? I might need to do too many mods?
Don't want to void my warranty thus I can only do spacers for the time being, any other ideas?

void your warranty? - putting spacers on will just do that if it compromises anything else on your drivetrain.

don't cut corners.. do it properly and get a spring lift or body lift or both

just throw in some 20mm spacers and go from that.
if you want 40mm then you can also throw on some shock spacers for the rear.

check out zuknutters rig.

Just save ya pennys mate and get a decent suspension lift for the Jim(40mm at the mim).
You will be pleasantly surprised were your Jim will take you.
Cheers
