Does anyone have any recomendations about where to go for uprated parts in the Brisbane area or northern NSW? (I'm in Glen Innes) I'm after someone familiar with modifying zooks and not too pricey for springs, shocks, body lift kit, brake lines etc. Thanks |

Body lift can be delivered to your door from Just_Cruisin. Brake lines will have to be made to suit so use your local brake shop. |

What lift are you doing mate?? I have 2 body & 2 suspension.. I didn't need any longer lines, just took the front passenger side out of its carrier. Just a thought, you might actually want to do it properly...however i'm a bit less caring, still has the same effect at the end of the day. Look at ebay and search onlineautoparts, they have lift kits at a very good price. Hope this helps ya out a bit. |

I've only got the dodgy lift set from that ebay store i mentioned. Shep is probably right, extended lines would be ideal, but we don't live in a perfect world, extra cost, bleed brakes etc also, but i'm a tight ass & lazy!!! I haven't had a problem thus far, touch wood.... I left the zippy a bit loose to allow for a bit of horizontal movement, each to their own mate. Will pic it for you tomorrow after I fuck around with a head gasket. If memory serves me right I think pedders lifted struts were about $500 ish for the pair, can't remember though mate. That was for the top of the range they stock, again don't know what it was called. Kinda switched off when they started talking about spending $2500 on suspension upgrade!!!! |
