well i've found a few spots on the front section where the wipers sit on my LJ and its in a bugger of a spot because it where the sheets of metal overlap and has gotten underneath a sheet and at it out. Whats the best way to fix it other then chop it out as its only the szie of a 50 cent piece. Was loking at using Septone rust converter and the filler stuff, seems simple enough. Also what should i do about surface rust? the has some big patches where its come the the paint but has eaten holes through. Any info is apreciated. Cheers Shelby |

well its where the sheets of metal overlap, so its only eaten a hole in the top layer and layer underneath is fine. |

wire brush the be jebus out of it & seal it, bog will sweat & make things worse so use a spray primer/ filler, can get in a can if you don`t have compressor. That`s how I would do it. But Gv`s don`t rust, not yet anyway. |

So you say to use spray putty? well i might give the spray putty a go with some metal tech filler. if worst comes to worst i'll just have to cut it out and tach weld it from the inside, have no clue how to weld but im sure i could find someone to. |
