Post subject:  Big tilt after putting 2" OME springs in??

Hey guys just after some advice. I just rencently put some 2" OME leaves in my sierra and now have a huge lean on the drivers side. I have heard that the leaves may actually be 'left' and 'right', but there were no markings to indicate this. So my question is, is this left/right thing true, or could i have done something else wrong?
Thanks, Mark

Hey merk what style springs did you get? Dakar or just the normal ones? If you just got the normal ones then yes there is a driver and passenger side for the front and the rear is the same both sides.

yer i got the same problem with mine. just assumed that cause im the only one that sits in it that the springs just bedded them selfs in that way. i was ganna put some bags of sand in the passenger side to even out the weight to see if that fixes it.

Oh k, yeah i just got the regular ones so that must be my problem haha thank's for the info. That sucks lol, took me ages to get 'em in. Your from rocky hey, on outercontrol? Pretty sure i saw you the other day when i was driving past BP, im the guy who bought Kurts old Zook. Hopefully outercontrol has a trip again soon so we can have a Zook-off haha

lol i just got commodore and hilux/hiace shocks from supercheap because im not the richest person lol, and i can buy three sets of them before i get OME ones. Only cost me 750 for it all so it was pretty sweet. What set up did you get?

exactly the same. i get it cheaper though ;) staff discount and cashies makes for a cheap lift. once you get the springs in the right sides the ride is awesome compared to stock. Who were you talking to at ARB when you bought them?

I run an extra leaf in the drivers side to try to counter the lean

ha awesome, staff discounts are sweet. I cant remeber who it was i was talking to, was a couple of people though. But yeah, i took it for a spin this arvo up the watertower and it rides wayy better. did yo have to extend your bumpstops, cos i'm pretty sure mine dont even hit when it's at full flex. that's probably because the springs are in wrong haha

we were up there for a bit yesterday arvo as well, its just round the corner from my place. i havent extended my bumpstops yet but i need to. I bottomed out a shock in a big way coming out of the creek bed out at belmont creek. My springs are finally starting to settle in and flex a bit more then when i first got them.
