My mind is ticking over...do I keep the F8a, go for a F10a, go for either one and warm it up or implant somthing non-zook like a A12, 3K, Kent...???
My preferance at the moment is a warm F10A (SU, cam, elect ignition, stractors and zorst) for the LJ80.

Yes you can bolt a 1 litre up to the Lj box in the original position but a good way to go is a 1 litre with the top loader 1 litre box instead of the remote shifter LJ set up, move the engine back as far as you can so that the gear stick comes out closer to the right spot, shorten the jackshaft to suit. which ever way you go you need to use the sump and the distributor housing off the F8A. With the low gearing of the LJ a sierra 1300 with 5 speed also goes well.
