Hi,

I just wanted to see other people's opinions on a little issue I'm having with my '92 Vitara. I've learnt that with a 3" Calmini lift, it tends to snap CV's like twigs, So I need to know what is the best option to prevent breakages and where to get decent shafts from.

the lift will have very little to do with it, you jsut need to learn to drive to what holds up

otherwise you can get a kit to fit hilux IFS shafts in, they are pretty strong

Its the bigger tyres that snap CV's, and you have less chance on snapping them with the Calmini kit than anyother lift.

If you can get in contact Mike Hagen from RPM4X4 he does up a kit so you can run Toyota CV's, it works well, there are a few mods that you need to do. I am not sure I would put it in a daily drive.

This is true,
I had a look at that site and I don't think I'll be doing anything that extreme. I've never seen a zook like those before. gad damn!!

I guess the other option is just to carry spares and be wiser with my steering when I'm in a sticky situation right?
