using gps . A little expencive but you will never look back , well worth it

what ratio does everyone run what size tyres do you have and can you do 100 with reasonable revs i wanna know what ratio i should get its a daily but i want it to be really capable aswel |

W/T with 6.5's 3600 is 100kph on a gps and when it was a 1.3 would tow this no worry's at 90kph.

6.5:1 with true 31" tyres. I've had my speedo recalibrated also. It does 100km/h at about 3500 - 3600 rpm and 110km/h at 3900 - 4000 rpm. Has a top speed of 130km/h |

And mine the same, but i'm going to 235/85R16 tyres. I seemed to be around 4000rpm @ 100kph. |

so if you missed it 6.5s are cool it you want to do 100 at about 3500-4000rpm, i would only run 6.5s again if i had 33 on zook standard diffs |

I had my 6.5's 3.7 diffs with stockers before my 33's. Gears on road quickly run out.. With 33's. Much betterer. Im still in 5th gear about 60/70kmh though on flat ground. My 1.6 helps though..

im running 30"s on my daily and have the same questions, im thinkin il go 4.9 gears and see how they go, with my 3.9 diffs it should go alrite. |

im running 4.16 gears in a 1 litre 4.1 diff ratio, I have only 4 gears not 5 like you 1.3 boys. with 30" rubber. works well and I can do 100 but its screaming, seems to be comfortable at 90 and it's not pushing too hard to get there. off road it's brilliant in a 1.3 running 30's i'd be looking at 4.9's |

i don't understand why people don't like to rev Suzuki motors. my 1.6 is happy to rev at 4 grand all day. the red bit on the gauge doesn't start until 6500 so 4000 is stuff all. rev em cos they love it.

My Gv sitts on about 3500 at 100kph, but then I change out of 3rd to 4th. You guys would obliterate me off road tho, unless it was dirt roads, then no chance !!!! peaceout  peaceout

I run 30" tyres, 6.5 gears and 3.9 diff. 100 is around 4000rpm, it loves it. |

6.5's will bend the stock transfer arms if you have a 1.3. I brace the longside arm by boxing it in, run urethane isolation mounts and a small tab off the longside arm that picks up 2 of the front output housing bolts. This seems to be enough. Here's a photo of a braced arm. 
PS 1.0 litre sierras have 4 transfer mounts and don't seem to bend arms, regardless of gears or tyre size. Steve. |

boys I dont think that pic has the extra bracket, but im sure if you use you imagination youll work it out. the rocky road beefed up arms use something similar with the extra bracket, but they use the rear output of the tc |
