the jap ones have two different length springs in the Rear. drivers side is longer. yours will most likely be a jap build but you can have a look if you want. the drivers side spring will be thicker too and the passenger side thinner. your jimny will corner a lot better with the ome kit in =] |

they also gave me a trim packer. i put the kit in myself and didn't use it. she sits nice and level =] get a wheel alignment after you get the lift kit put in. mine was out and made it crap to drive at high speeds anyway... so. bigger wheels???? |

i just assumed mine was japanese cause it had jap writing inside the engine bay. the longer spring in the rear is a retarded thing. i didnt notice when we put mine in, we assumed if there was gonna be a longer spring it would be in the front. unfortunately i drove around with the wrong spring for months. hahah, looked like a knob |

Thnks for the advice, i'll see how I go cancelling it. It's taken so long to get it in stock, I just want the lift already! Anyone got the EFS 50mm kit, and if so is it any good? This will be my second choice failing the OME. |

I got lovells 50mm springs but i found theya re too damn heavy duty for such a light car. 14mm coil thickness. I'm searchinga round for something thinner/softer. Mitch. |

This is confusing. My advice to anyone is to buy the jap spec springs, these are taller for the drivers side. I've got euro in the hardest spring rates and it's 10mm lower on the drivers side, and about 30mm lower on the front then the back. I've got a pair 20mm spacers from outdoorauto4x4 for the front, and a pair of 10mm rings from ARB that I'm goingt to fit on the drivers side front and back. So essentially it should be level, and the arse will sit about 10mm higher then the front when unladen. |
