Having trouble getting parts for my sierra box need the top sharfts. found a 2000 mod jimmy box at the wreckers and don't know if it has the same top sharft and gears.
reckon someone here should know.

So your talking about the selector shaft`s?
To my knowledge thay are different, if that`s what you talk`n bout.

no the top sharft with the gears on it it is in 2 parts the input sharft and the main sharft there is a roller bearing between and the main shaft fits into the input shaft. This is the area that is stuffed the roller bearing died and chewed up the ends

Inside the box!!!! O K .. don`t know for sure, but i think the jimny box (13bb eng) is different.
joeblow would probably know.

Yes it will fit. I am running complete G13BB jimny internals in my sierra 5sp box. They are the same. I cannot be sure if the M13A Jimny gearbox internals are the same tho, so may pay to check this. Perhaps take yours out and compare to the jimny one if you are unsure G13BB or M13?
