hey im trying to think of ways to unbend my axle housing. I was thinking about heat and bending (very very slowly) or a chain block, cold bending it back. What have people done in the past?

An I beam, 2 chains and a hydraulic jack will do it.

you will need to use something a bit better then a wooden ruler to measure it.
a welder would do the job.

Nothing is cracked and im not planning on taking any steel out of it, so what the welder for? Yeah i know i was just trying to show you how bent it is... I checked the knuckles and there not twisted whish is something i was worried about...

welding steel has the side affect of bending it, therefore a welder can be used
to straiten a diff. have you ever noticed how people who know what they are doing, put a diff in a jig before welding.

Yeah i always pre-load a diff housing a few thou in a jig before welding bracing in. And then do small stich welds, not massive continual runs. They bend like a banana otherwise.
Using some heat whilst doing the I beam trick would be the best bet. won't be as stressfull on the steel as cold bending would be.

The bent housing should be good for cornering
Just need to match the rear so the contact pattern is the same
You need more air With your hands up in the air
ps. dont be a bogan.
