Recently my mate has given me 2x tow eyes that say WLL0.7t. Im assuming that this means that they are rated at 700kg. If i have one on either side on the front of my 83 suzi linked together by a rated chain will these be sufficient/safe for me to use as recovery points? If not what rating should i be looking at getting? |

No. These are designed for lifting things. The momentary force placed on your recovery points when being snatched is more like a few ton. Buy some rated hooks from arb/ tjm etc and fit those through the chassis with G8 high tensile bolts. Where possible use a sandwich plate inside the chassis rail to help prevent the rail from tearing.
