I came up with an idea on how to make coil mounts for the chassis, i just need some measurements to finish.

Can anyone measure up a standard spring from a jimmny or a vitara and tell me the external and internal diameters of the coil?

Also is there any reason why the coil mount on the chassis is mounted at the top of the rail? i have had the idea to mount it on the lower edge of the chassis to gain lift while using a standard spring. the lift gained would be about 4"
