OK, I have never been aware of any aggresive tyres available in the standard 205/70R15 size for a Sierra. hence anyone who has wanted anything better than an "A/T" has had to go to a size which by the letter of the law (in QLD anyway) is illegal.

Anyone interested in keeping their car 100% legal, this might be of interest to you:

Seems Maxxis has released a 205/70R15 Trepador :) . Not sure there is a huge market for it myself, but they must believe so.

Anyone know of any other 205 aggresive tyres? might be useful info for some people.

All 205's look ridiculous!
Still they are the standard size sadly, so some people may find them suitable for their needs (maybe nobody on auszookers though  )

235s on mine, been pulled over by cops asking questions about muddy tyre marks on the road coming out of suburban bush land nearby, was dark I said dunno who / haven't seen any 4x4s in there. he checked both tyres on that side of the car with his torch then said have a nice night n left..

Probably looking for mud on the tyres tho my car was clean :)

I think they would have to be bit of a tight ass to try book you for 235's when you look at the people who run much bigger tyres! lol
