| Post subject: | dramas fitting new fuel pump |
hey, can anyone offer any advice on how i can get the new fuel pump to fit in my 95 sierra 1.3 carb, it is identical to the original but it just wont go in far enough. is there a trick to this or just real fiddly please respond asap cheers ZUKPWR |

Trick..kinda. Just for the record I suck at explaining shit. This is what I did anyway. Turn your engine over by hand so the shaft comes out just past the block, place the pump over the shaft and make sure the rocker arm is touching it and inline with it. Start the bolts a few turns. Do up bolts from side to side evenly tensioning as you go until its fully done up. Hope that helps and is not as clear as mud. Enjoy |

please respond asap cheers ZUKPWR Wind the eng over by hand, make sure the ing is OFF, grab the fan blade`s as close to the pulley as you can & turn it to the passenger side, also check that the insulator is not still on the old pump. Wind in the eng over is just getting the pump lobe of the cam to a different pos.... |
