Does anyone have one or able to tell me the outer dimensions of such tool?
Preferably the outer diam, so the torque can be calculated.

Being able to know the torque required would make setting the bearing preload correctly a lot easier.

Starting torque is listed as 1.8-3.4 kg, I assume this is the mass measured off the special tool.

thats cool. looks easy to make too. how much does it cost from ARB. i saw this socket on ebay once with four pins in the end of it which was also a great design, i think it was from bits for vits.

I don't think that is the tool he is looking for.

He specifies the start torque, so I would be thinking he is after the tool that bolts to the flange to measure how much preload is on the pinion bearings, not a tool for adjusting the carrier bearings.

Ball is correct.
