Its only worth it if you driving through water that high. I have them in and never ever go through water now more then diff height anyway.. The fittings will be hard to modify though for the gearbox. Take the stick boot off and you should be able to see it. I have a 90 degree fitting on mine. I did it while it was out of the car while doing a clutch. The transfer is similar, but there is alittle more room. I have used the stock fitting(not much to clamp onto but its 'ok') Grab a torch. and go looky. Be warned. You may daydream looking at things..I do it all the time...like its a trance or something. |

Yep. A quick 2 minute squiz turns into a half hour think tank when you're laying on your back gazing at the running gear of your zuk! |

While I had the transfer out I chucked a breather hose on it. Would be difficult to get to while in the car, unless you have small hands. Don't think I'd be able to get the missus under there to do it |

The way these are set up are different to the diffs, it's not just a hole straight down the guts, from memory, you would need remove the cap and cut off the top of the riser out of the either the gearbox or transfer. Then tap it and screw in a fitting. If you simply clamp a hose around the riser it'll block the breather holes. |

It looked just like a small version of a diff breather to me. The little cap has a soft spring inside with a rubber diaphragm. I just pulled off the cap, complete with spring and diaphragm slipped a tight fitting hose over the top and secured it with a hose clamp. |

Guilty. Is this wrong???
I have purchased a Billet 'Complete Breather kit'. Complete?? They never asked me what vehicle I have, so when I ask "How do I attach these small pipes to the diffs they say "Oh, you'll need an adapter". When I ask "How do I attach to the T-case and Gear Box... "We don't know" *sigh*. Any ideas for an 08 jim? |

i ended up leaving transfer case on as its really short andskinny and couldnt make breather stay. but the gear box wasnt as mush as a cap more so like a plug with 2 hole on the side my ar is a coily. also for gear box take the rubber gear stick cover off and should be right there thats how i installed mine. may be different on the jimmny |
