How bad are they scraping?? Have you rolled your guards yet? You could be running the wrong offset on your rims, don't know what the right offset is though. Someone here will know.

Post subject:  Re: spacers

you shouldnt need spacers for 30s unless you have some wacky positive offset rims.

where are they scraping? on the chassis or body?

Give the wheelarch seams a good hammer bash.

oh and fix it before you go for a wheel, or your tyres will get raped.

Post subject:  Re: spacers

they already have :(
they are scraping on the leff springs (if that how you spell them lol)
they arent scraping on the out side its just on the leff springs
even when i flex it it scrapes ont he top abit but nothing a littel big more highter whont fix

so what do u guys think ??

Post subject:  Re: spacers

sounds like your running standard offset wheels. f100 offset will stop the scrubbing but will possibly need flare extensions.

Post subject:  Re: spacers

Spacers are not the answer, what brand are your rims?

I have never seen 30s scrape on leafs but i have only ever seen them on 15x7 speedy or king rims which have around a -14 offset.

Post subject:  Re: spacers

they are f100 rims ?
im sorry if i sound stupid but im new to this and to me it dident make sence for 30s 2 be rubing bad

like if i drive on a normal road and try to do a u turn i cant i need to do a 3 point turn ??

Post subject:  Re: spacers

shode i go take a pic of it and the wheels then u guys can see what im talking about ??

Post subject:  Re: spacers

f100 rims are not all created equal.

You need rims with a negative offset, which meant they move the tyre away from the chassis.

Speedy or King are two very common and inexpensive examples, which would most likely fix your problem.

Cheaper/safer/more readily availible than spacers.

Post subject:  Re: spacers

8O 8O tthats bad... haha um like the others said i think you should invest in some sunraysia 15 x 7 with a descent negative offset. 60-70 $$ each..spacer might work i guess but correct me if im wrong any1 but spacers are allegal i think..(not that it matters just saying) :)

Post subject:  Re: spacers

keep the rubber.. sell the rims and go down to your local tyre place he prob get them in over night. prob about 70 beans each speedy or kings 15 x 7 -10 to -20 offset. i havve negative 14 and they stick out plast my flares about 1 inch

Post subject:  Re: spacers

any tyre or wheel store should be able to help with the rims you need. realistically if yours are only rubbing on full lock on the springs i wouldnt worry too much about it but thats just me

Any tyre shop will have what you want.

Speedy Desert rats in 15x7 should work for you and probably cost about $60 each, ask them to fit them for that price too... a good tyre place will.
shop around

i have 2inch suspension and 2 inch body but i haven't lifted my front bar yet and it scrapes with my 30s all the time so i took it off.
so a 2inch body lift would fix it wouldn't guys??

new rims always look good anyway.
