tax is coming in next week so i can finally get some new wheels and tyres. but after doing some research i am undecided as to what size rim i want??? I have found that there are more re tread and different size and brands of new and used tyres available for a 16 inch rim (cheap :)) but i havent seen one sierra with a 16 yet? is there a reason for this? anyone know the pros and cons of both sizes?

any sizes you care to run on a sierra will be cheap as, 235/75 and 31's are pretty cheap in 15's, along with teh rims

Ring Big tyre group at paisley drive lawnton. Pretty good on prices, especially when you tell him you have a zook, he raced them back in his day or something like that...Go 15's

just a rip off. i know for a fact that for 60 bucks i could paint a white pair of sunnies black :) could even get them powdercoated for that.

It's probably just because 15" are more common for Sierras. You'll find that there are not a lot of 16" around in the Sierra stud pattern. You can buy them new pretty easily, but you will find GV rims in 16", and I have seen F100 in 16" too. If you do find some rims just make sure the offset is going to work for you.

FYI, I paid $850 for my four 235/85R16 Federal MTs.

King wheels have had some problems with their wheels breaking in the mine sites. Probably not a problem for Zukes but may be something to watch out for
