Does Jimny G13BB head fit G16 block?
Might get me running again a bit quicker than buying a new VIT head at $550-$600.

my jimny had vitara block with jimny head, didnt run as great as a properly vitara'd one, Manifold vacuum was a bit... weird- only way to fix it was to advance cam timing by 1 tooth.

The suzuki mechanics said they had never heard of this before.

what would the advantages of doing this swap be, besides efi if it was a carbi vit head? more compression?

Not after any advantage per se... Just want a running motor and thought if I can't find a G16B head baybe I can find a G13BB head.

$550 - $600 for a vitara head sounds expensive!

I got a complete G16 baleno motor (with only 80,000km) for $800 including the loom, ECU and p/s pump.

The wreckers I got the motor from:

Not sure if baleno motors are much cheaper than vitara motors. I'm guess an early model baleno head may fit (before they went coil pack)? Don't really know but may be worth investigating.
