Well the dust has settled on the Ripley run and now I need to deal with the carnage.
Looking for info on fitting glass in rear sides. From what I can see it is attached with a very dense rubber that self bonds to the glass and painted metal surfaces. As far as I can see there is no wire running through the rubber.
It's possibly some kind of silicon type. Also there is a clip in each top corner glued to the glass and pressed into the metal.
Any info is appreciated

From memory its some type of sikaflex glue that windscreen guys use, I think they charge around $60 to R&R rear 1/4 windows

Paul - for the hassle, I reckon I'd get a local auto glass guy to do it. It'll be done properly, and far less messy.

check and see if you have windscreen cover on your insurance, they will replace and cover the cost of the tint for free
If you dont have windscreen cover, get it
