i have an 02 gv and getting 11.8l/100km's on the hiway and about 17l/100km's around town. the car is stock 5 door 2.5l v6 auto with 160,000km's. i think this fuel usage is way to high. anyone had any problems with using to much fuel. i use the air con constantly and the car seems to have plenty of power and drives great. checked the air filter and is good, all ways have overdrive on. i've only had it 2 months so hopeing that there's nothing wrong with but don't like the fuel usage. |

Have you checked your tyre pressures? Do you carry heavy loads - tools, water etc. Have you had it serviced lately? |

a dicky oxygen sensor can cause that if it a sudden problem otherwise your injectors might need servicing and the engine a general tune up |
