pulled out my radiator today after driving and reilsiing something smelt a bit funny, radiator colours was green red and yellow? alos is it bad to mix fluids :S

any way theirs a puncture through it pushing the little flairs through to one side, funnily enough it doenst leak except the botom brackets some how??

I'm having a custom alloy radiator whipped up for my zook.
Slightly larger than factory so new mounts will be required, and a themo fan with shroud will top it off.
500x500x56mm triple core.
Bolt in replacement option might also be available.
Will come in under $200 when they go retail in a couple of months.
They'll be on ebay once they're available.

Tell us more, Im very interested in one, my radiator is a bit hows ya mother. Holds the temp, but with summer coming, new needed.

Nothing much to tell other than what is above.
I've had a few chats with a company that sells via ebay. They're Chinese based but from what i've seen their quality is definately up to scratch.

I've got a few mates with turbo streeters using these radiators and can't fault them. A mates rb30/26 skyline making ~480kw at all fours runs one. That's good enough credentials for me.

I'm getting mine made a bit oversized as the factory radiator can let the temp creep at times (on the beach) so a bit of extra volume and surface area won't go astray.

Should know more in the next week or so.

If they are one and the same then they will be awesome, and cheap 2!
They are being designed for greater core thickness, larger liquid volume, and larger core surface area, all to bolt straight in.

If these are the same ones did you also hear about the flash silicone rad hoses which will be available with them?

Don't think they're the same Davo.
I only recently started talking to the manufacturer (a week ago) because I wanted them to make me a 1 off for my car. Then they made an offer of a great price if I could provide mounting details etc so they could do a production run.

I'm all for more cheap performance products though. We all need a little extra for a little less

mnemonix, do you know any more info on these radiators you are talking about? will be needing one soon, and cant find one that has aluminium tanks. would be very interested if it makes buying 2 cheaper for both of us. done the swift gti conversion into a 82 sierra. Cheers Jamie.

another thought, brother in law races sprintcars, very close in sizing etc if you can get your hands on one, anyone let me know if they want some dimensions, reckon last time we bought one was $200 delivered.

Cost me $175 delivered.
4-5 week build time. I'm 1 week into that period, so I should have a radiator on my doorstep in ~4 weeks worst case.

I just bought one from Lowrange. $270 and 10 day lead time. Couldn't be stuffed waiting 2 months for the sake of $70.

it is just a standard size, all alloy, but even at $270 its a bargain. So these $200 will be an absolute steel!
