im rebuildinh my motor some time in the next couple of months and have decided to boar(spelling) the engine out about 40thou my brothers idea just to get some extra out of the little motor just wondering if anyone else has done it and how much more power/ torque did u get ??

I wouldn't bother. Just hone the cylinders and rebuild.
Otherwise. 1.6efi.

x2 Any work you do will be almost a waste of good $$ as it will probably go unnoticed on such a tiny mill. Just my opinion. Others might disagree. A cam and carby work might make a small difference.

not wasting more money than i have to with buying a 1.6 means i gotta buy the motor then rebuild it if anythings wrong with it plus spend all my time tring to figure out the wires when i can just rebuild my motor and put a bit more grunt in to it

Hire a constant tailwind. That will give you more power.

overboreing does little to increase power but if your pistons are worn and your bore is out of round (will be) then its an essential recon step
get a cam and up the compression a bit for more go

mine is 40 over mild cam and rejet goes realy well worth the money

for ther cost of a rebuild on a 1.3 its not really worth it IF you can get a good efi engine, more power and will alst longer nayway

damaged vehicle auctions are where its at mate, can pick up a complete car with the 1.3 or 1.6 with computer etc between 500-700 bucks, then part the rest off and make some $
