I've got a power steering box but one of the hoses i've got is busted. If I fit it to my zook no connected to the pump is it going to stuff the box?

The existing hose looks a bit ghetto so I was going to get them to make a whole new one up rather than repairing the old one. Otherwise i'd just take the hose in.

no it will destroy it, give it to me :)

you should be more worried about stuffing the pump, spinning with no fluid in it will kill it pretty dam quick, can you get a hose docotr to come make you one or take your hose to enzed to get a new one made?

The pump shouldn't be an issue as I don't need to have the pump on there, or I could at least take the belt off.

I could take the hose in but I was thinking of having the vehicle in there so they can route the pipe nicely. Am I just being pedantic again?

a mobile dude could do it easy enough, plus they probably have a bit more smarts when it comes to designing things to look nice over a guy in the store

Most of the mobile guys are great but I had one last week come make a new P/S hose for a Transporter and he left a bunch of metal shavings in the hose that killed the pump.
If you get your house fixed or a custom one made up be sure to flush it out.
