I've got a power steering box but one of the hoses i've got is busted. If I fit it to my zook no connected to the pump is it going to stuff the box? The existing hose looks a bit ghetto so I was going to get them to make a whole new one up rather than repairing the old one. Otherwise i'd just take the hose in. |

no it will destroy it, give it to me you should be more worried about stuffing the pump, spinning with no fluid in it will kill it pretty dam quick, can you get a hose docotr to come make you one or take your hose to enzed to get a new one made? |

The pump shouldn't be an issue as I don't need to have the pump on there, or I could at least take the belt off. I could take the hose in but I was thinking of having the vehicle in there so they can route the pipe nicely. Am I just being pedantic again? |

a mobile dude could do it easy enough, plus they probably have a bit more smarts when it comes to designing things to look nice over a guy in the store |

Most of the mobile guys are great but I had one last week come make a new P/S hose for a Transporter and he left a bunch of metal shavings in the hose that killed the pump. If you get your house fixed or a custom one made up be sure to flush it out. |
