There is another option that I am curently working on..
Fitment will be pretty easy. Just need to shave a bit off the alternator bracket.. Plus it is v belt not multi rim.. Only prob is it is dual v belt so trying to figure if I cab get it to run the 2 belts eventually.
Alternator is off a Mitsubishi delica.. Turbo diesel.
It is a 120a mitsubishi item.
Will post up a tech/I made it thread once I am happy with it..

What is the price for a Delica alternator? I bought one for an NB Pajero years ago and it was $200+...

is that the same as a series 2 pajaro 2.5 or 2.8 diesel? i might check that out as there are a few in the dump here.
the radiators look like they would fit as well.
actually that will give me something to do today. off to the dump i go.

Price wise no idea.. Mine I got for free.. It was 2nd hand.. the new one we put on the car was 360 fitted.
The alternator spikes for a millisecond (not long enugh to register on a multimetre) doesn't effect carby cars though .. Had mine run on a test bench for about 40 minutes and at no stage was i able to see the spike.. But k&n the car for 10 minutes and it sends the computer into safe mode.

i went and had a look and the paj alternators run a single V belt, however it is a very thick one
radiator is around 60mm wider then the standard sierra mounts.
pics for steknig

I think this is what my Falcon alternator used to do, causing all the headlight globes to blow when you turned them on
