I have never had a problem with tight brake lines

Maybe they aren't factory ones?? I run the Commo/Hilux shock setup with extended bumpstops in the front and there is still plenty of slack in the line at full extension of the shock.

i didnt notice it before but the crossmembers mounts are one peice with the hub?

thats dave the dodgy kiwi's car it has a just crusing body lift and HD OME 40mm springs
with vs wagon rear shocks on the front and has 30" MTR's

mine has about 4.5 inch spring lift and i have KYB "S" pack vs wagon rear shocks on the front.
the S pack are apparently a bit longer then the normal wagon and i get a lot of droop out of the
shocks and only need 25mm bumpstop ext. my diff has been moved around 45mm forward as well.

Hi all , im looking at doin a 2 inch bodylift to my 92 WT , should i do this b4 or after a suspenion lift ?? wanna run 31x10.5xr15's also does any one have any tips on the lift do's and dont's any replies appreciated

Beat advise I can offer is avoid body lifts as long as you can I run 31x10.5 with no b/l and I get very little scrubbing I do run bumpstop spacers and my front guards have been massaged though which helps

The body lift is $210, a suspension lift is about $600+. You'll want both eventually anyways so do as your budget allows. Can you fit 31's without a BL, yes, if you intend to bash the yell out of wheel arches with a hammer. if you go the BL you have to do the seams anyway but not the entire guard and firewall.

In answer to the original q, do both body and suspension lifts. Extend bumpstops and run long shocks to get the most out of the springs. I did body lift first then suspension but it doesn't really matter which way you do it.

Why would people suggest something that odd ball if it took a lot of work to do it?? Just whack some mog diffs and a 350 chev in. It'll be a hell of a lot of work but geez it'll be good. The shocks go straight in.

woh i just had a good look at the pic and yeah i looks like its seen better days, but its not that bad in real life lol, most if is is dirt and mud as well and fatzook yeah i know i haave money for rego and shit next year,a nd a bit on the side for a 3 inch calmini lift, i plan on buying your shackles though im hoping i wont needa replace the steering (knuckle)

i was looking at my steering column today, and was unsure wether my Sj413 is able for a body lift? i didnt notice it before but the crossmembers mounts are one peice with the hub?

None of that is effected with a body lift. The body lift simply lifts the body off the chassis with a series of blocks

"S" pack are shorter, I think you might find that they are "Country" pack instead thats the ones mate ditch your sway bar and give ya car a good clean and then fish oil it. but seriously just drive ya car for a bit and get yourself a workshop manual and learn how it works then you will get an idea of what you want to do with it.

fish oil kills rust protects metal and is easy to put on.
