hi hello, how are ya's

i've tried the search option with no luck, my post no. 1 is a question.

Sierra with Air Conditioning. I've only ever seen lets say 1 in 50 for sale adds for them stating aircon as an accessory. Why so few ? Are they factory units or is a sierra with aircon always a custom job ? If so, would the vitara be the obvious donar vehicle ?

cheers for any comments.

Sierra aircon is a rare option as they are a cheap car...
Vitara AC bits don't fit Sierra.

i have searched hi and low through suppliers that we use to get air-con kits from and no one makes them anymore. every one i call gives me another number of someone that may do them. but the answer is always no and then another number and business to try

hrmm interesting! I never knew the Sierra airconditioning was this rare. Depending on what I do with my 1.6 I may have some parts up for sale in a few months.

I don't think they are that rare. My Sierra hardtop has factory aircon, and my nephew has owned 2 Sierra softtops over the past few years, both of which had factory air. Aircon in a soft top is a bit of a waste of time if you ask me, but regardless, it must have been an option.
