I have the airconditioning system from a baleno that i have no intention of using as aircon so might turn into an endless air compressor has anyone got any experience with building a compressor from an aircon compressor?

You want a really simple system, just connect the output of compressor to an air tank, with a 100psi switch also connected to tank. Then connect positive wire from battery, to a switch in dash, to the pressure switch on tank, then connect to compressor clutch.
The input for compressor you connect to a simple filter of some sort in engine bay. Every few long uses, spray some WD40 down the input hose. DONE.

Make sure it has an online oiler as the a/c gas is a lubrication for it
