Has anyone used any of that spray on ute liner in their zook?

I was thinking of doing it to the front floors and entire rear area when I repaint the thing.

Has anyone had any success? Is it worth it?

Any recommended stuff to use? saw some at super cheap for $140


Also, whats the best way to remove that black tar sound deadening shit the zooks have on the floors? (that likes to melt in the heat and stick to you)

I read an article in Zoom mag that shows you how they did it with dry ice. It gets brittle when cold and just breaks off. I haven't tried that myself but it worked for them.

I had the floor of my Hiace work van coated with Speedliner at Caboolture.
Good stuff that is damn hard wearing.
Cost $600 drive in - drive out.

To remove the original deadening stuff I just use a hammer and a cold chisel and then a paint scraper to get the little bits.

hammer and cold chisel works- also you can use a wire brush attachment on a power drill

That looks pretty easy, there is a local fishing joint I can get dry ice from on order. might give it a go if a get fed up with the other methods. lol

Heard some good things about that speed liner, but I don't want to spend that much on it unfortunately.

If the liner is in good condition it works. If it's old and half melted it's an absolute PITA to get off.
