I hope someone can help i have put on a new trailer plug all lights are working on trailer excpt tail lights when i hook up a test ligh there is nothing no power going to the plug but the lights on the back of the vit are working please please help

Check the connection at the tail light's, Did you use scotch lock's? Thay are not known for brilliant connection.

there is scoth locks on there will take it of and try that

A scoth lock is a little plastic thing to join two wire with a metal part in between the wire, wired the wire running from the plug directly to wire at tail light still nothing when you hook a test light there is no glow on the test light

Yes remove them and solder the wires together and then Tape up

Are you sure you have the right wire? Your not hooked up to the earth are you??

is was wired allready buy some one else and have checked all the wires and they are right, have dissconnected the earth wire, may need to take it to an auto elec
|

Is your plug's wires connected behind the drivers side or passenger side rear light?

I'll get the wireing diagram for that side so you can check that it is connected correctly.
