Need a new air filter and a Valvoline zook filter is so flamin' expensive
so if any one is running a different filter in a 1.6L carby Vitara can you tell me brand, part number and if it wouldn't be to much trouble price. 'cause i might go with a Valvoline filter to suite a Holden comadore it is only the slightest bit smaller and a lot cheaper.
All sujestions apperciated.
it could help if i knew how to spell

mate what price do you put on your engine?
go to somewhere beside supercheap and grab a ryco for it, valvoline are crap
or $70 will get you a re usable unifilter for it, better filtration and you never have to replace it, just wash and oil

Take care with Ryco air filters, i used one in my Vit once and it lets HEAPS of dust through. I was travelling outback though.. The filter medium was a thin paper compared to the compounded material from genuine... 2 cents .worth
