Well, the answer of course, depends on what you want from your tyres, where you will be using them, and of course budgets and everything else. Tyre choice is not a simple thing...

I'd go for round one, in black of course because it is the new black. Preferably ones with deep tread.

What are you into, rocks mud what?? Are they daily drive tyres or weekend play only. How is you car set up? What do you have, because on a Suzuki forum with 'lux' in your user name kinda gets confusioning. Am I asking too many noob questions here, sorry, maybe I should have done a search, fuck now I've turned all "Outers", shit, but I can say 'shit' so I must still on AZ, fuck it, what thread is this? bugger another question, won't matter because no one ever reads long posts anyway so it doesn't matter what I say maybe only two people will even get this far through my post. At least my spelling is somewhat legiable to most.

simexs or silverstone extremes if you mainly drive mud but they aren't a good road tyre.

Post subject:  Re: tyres whats better?

Simex balance up a bit better then the silverstones but that means nothing after about 5 minutes in the rough stuff and less if you drive mud. You're well set up to run 31-32's the 31 simex are about a 32 anyways, not sure on the Claws. The claws are a very wide tyre though and I don't think the sierra's like wide tyres as much. Mind you our comp car is running 11.5's but I think it would do better on skinnier tyres but we aren't going to pay for them.

i got 31/10.5 15 silverstones MT-117 extreems i tested them out last weekend at gh and they are awsome cheap as well

The silverstones are your best all arounds but have very thin sidewalls. The claws a great offroad on anything and have very thick sidewalls and you can run reallly low pressures (I can get my claws down to 6psi in the rear and 8psi front) but they are shocking on the road. I wont drive on the road in mine with the claws on it if its raining. One of the other guys I go out with has Claws and he likes them because how heavy they are they help keep it on the wheels.

Be careful with new silverstone sizes my 33's measure almost 35. And my mates simex 32's measure 33ish. Both of these are shit on road. At 80km/h it vibrates the car

get the biggest rubber you can afford
but seriously I think a great alround tyre for road and great offroad are maxxis bighorn or if you want more offroad silverstone mt117 are great value and for 95 % offroad silverstone exteames are exellent value for a serious tyre.
I love my swampers but they suck arse on the black top.

Id go the Silverstone MT 117 Sports for all round tyres and the Extremes for mud. In my experience thin side walls work better on Zooks as they don't way enough to make thick side walls flex..

The silverstones have some of the stiffest sidewalls i've ever used. Under my sierra, visibly there is no difference between 30psi and 5psi on flat ground.

dude you need to get your eyes checked, even my 34" LTB swampers that have the thickest sidewall in the universe still bag noticably at 4-5 lbs.

33x10.5/15 xtremes in the old (small) sizing.

We're not talking about swampers here are we. I'll take some photos next time i'm out for comparison.

Notice I said "On Flat Ground". Under the weight of my lwb ute they don't visible bag.

On harsh contours, like the right angle shown in Ken's photo, the tyres mould to the profile of the terrain well.

i like my thick sidewalls. Yes they make for a rough ride but i can count how many side wall punchers I have seen on those cheepies. The thicker sidewalls role off the rim less often.

ohh and mine dont bag untill they are under 11psi on the flat top at 8psi you can tell they are low. But once your in the bush they fold over everythink. I run 8 too 10psi on frontand 6 too 8psi in the rear. I have dropped the front down too 4psi one time to help get up some rocks. I have never lost a beed.

Yep that's what the ones in the photo are.
and the only time i popped a bead was when i ran 32"Swamper SX's and i have yet to see a sidewall staked on a Zook, not to say it couldn't happen.
