every time i turn the egnition on i have to tune my stereo i tested the memory wire with a circuit tester and there is only a tiny bit off glow from the bulb compared to the others. any input would be appreciated.... |

blown fuse bad connection do you have a circuit tester ? |

he has a circuit tester... run a wire to your battery or a known good source of power to the memory wire & see if it hold the programs. if it does you know your head unit is working properly & it's the constant power wire is the problem, search for another constant power wire that has good power & connect the memory wire into that... while you are playing under the dash, check all your earths are on bare metal & they are tight!!! |

buy yourself a multimeter. I think you can get a digital unit for under 20 bucks. Then check your source wire for voltage. If its below 12volts find another. Its really a simple fix. |

check your fuses and check how good the connection is, otherwise you can find a constant power wire from the clock that is suitable for the memory wire on the stereo |

bad connection i pulled it out tested it and it worked, do i did it all back up and it works |

did you solder all joins... ?? twist & tape method only works if you are employed by smashfields or wogbarn |
