you dont neet to move front hanger if you run longer shackles and redrill the rear spring mountback 30mm and up 15mm The most important bit of doing a RUF is raising the top shock mount to make bets effect of the increased spring travel. B4T |

The Point of doing a full ruf is to move the diff forward I already run half ruf but I'm sick of my tires hitting the firewall |

you can move ya diff by redrilling the locating hole on the diff. if you will be useing the standerd top shock mount you will also need to move the bottom mount otherwise the shock bends on the bumpstop mount. if you make something like this it keeps the shock away from the stuff that damages them.

Just cut the back edge off the bump stop and extend it forward to remount the bumpstop in the correct position relative to the diff |

found a picture of some unknown Sierra with full RUF, although it's NT the same idea can be applied to WT just make a couple of gussets.

It would be easier for me to just fab up the bits I need and then weld then on when I get a chance otherwise I have to pull everything apart plus I want a little less shackle angle |

i moved mine to much to do that, the shock was out of square with the mounts bit like a Z. |

that's exactly what I was planning on the lwb I'll go with that idea I have a chassis in the shed for doner mounts and I'll fab something up thanks for the help fellas |

This is how i did it. I like to do things properly right from the start, not only to keep rear mount stock and shackle angle decent, but also to make a decent mount for bullbar.

Oh yeh and here it is finished and painted. I no longer have that white softtop body on the chassis, i put the current green hardtop on.

i just used a set of climax shackles as they are shaped like a L and sit about 3" further forward, no other mods are necessary. |

Here's how I do them: 
I've also done them quicker/rougher, but the way shown here gets the big tick from the engineer. RUF is the best single modification you can do to the suspension of a sierra. Steve. |

Me likes Gwagensteve, especially moving the steering box. Ive found since moving the diff forwards that the balljoint on pitman arm hits the trackrod. |

Looks like the way to go. Can you give some details like how much extension, how far forwrd hanger and how far forward steer box? Also what thickness steel? cheers mika |
