ok i cant sort out this issue...
my motor feels "FLAT" around 3700-4100rpm
dosnt matter full throttle or less.. it dosnt die, just looses power, still acelerates...
i am just stuffed if i can work out why!!

the timing is set at around 8's and, has new plugs and leads etc...
it dosnt miss, it just runs out of power... just feels flat

sounds like an ignition problem to me, u said new leads... try other ones? check that plugs are right ones? you have probably already done this.

I would be looking at fuel. Check pressure whilst driving, check/change filter, check pump and lines, etc....

well after looking at it for a hour or so... checking for vacume leaks etc..
it turns out.. it has melted the eletrde in #4 spark plug!! eek
thats fixed but i have no idea why it did that!

well i found the reason it melted a plug
the new leads i bought.. where it go's though the rocker cover on2 the plug was about 10mm to long, so it has never been sitting corectly on the plug, so off with 10mm on the bottom, now it sits spot on!
all is good with the world now
